Beauty is as Beauty does
On the day my life had been put on pause
It started changing as morning waking
Became something I preferred ignoring
Looking through the window at a world of
Endless flaws to me the beauty came across
Whilst through others' skies planes were flying
My naïve mind admired birds soaring
How were they dealing with beauty withdrawals?
Beauty is as beauty does I have heard
Dreading dreaming and thinking sullen thoughts
Lead the others on to doubting the word
Sunlight's glory, a glimpse of which I caught
To some sad souls is but the darkness blurred
Hope is the word and love is the world.
